Commodity Watch: Zinc futures decline on trimmed positions

New Delhi: Zinc prices fell 0.46 per cent to Rs 300.15 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market. Zinc contracts for November delivery traded lower by Rs 1.40 in 2,839 lots. Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
